Shoelaces are designed to hold your shoes on your feet. Imagine shoes without shoelaces. We feel that nutrition is the #1 key to sustainable health. Without nutrition, your body is not adequate to maintain a viable life. #Shoelaces mission is to provide shoeboxes of in-season, fresh, locally grown produce to locals at an affordable price. We also work with local farms to ensure that every thing that is grown is put to good use.
Shoelaces targets elderly, widowed, and low-income families to ensure they receive access to healthy eating in an amount that they can consume without the risk of waste.
We are always looking for donated shoeboxes, growers, volunteers, and delivery helpers to make #Shoelaces a success. Contact us to get involved.

#KidPrep is a critical program to the Sans Souci Community. It offers after school tutoring, project assist, and a positive social club to low income kids in our community. The community of Sans Souci is made up of mostly Title I schools which poses great academic, housing, health, and nutritional risks to low income families. We must find a way to fill the gap between school and home. After school, we provide a snack, tutoring, and special project assistance to ensure each kid has access to the resources they need to learn.
#KidPrep is not just for kids; thats just what we call an offspring of a goat. #KidPrep offers academic and social groups for elementary, middle, and high school youth to better their chances of success. We partner with local teachers, retired educators, and special needs volunteers to sustain these programs and we depend on grants, sponsors, and local successors to make #KidPrep a success.
If you would like to volunteer your time to tutor, sponsorship of our program, or involvement in our #KidPrep program, please contact us.

#AdoptANeighbor is likely one of our most important initiatives in the Sans Souci community. About 10 years ago, we experienced a terrible ice storm, which left community residents without power in record freezing temperatures for over ten days. This posed great danger to the local elderly and disabled residents of our community. Some of our community residents are lonely, have no way to shop for groceries, and are not able to keep up with everyday housework to keep their environment safe. #AdoptANeighbor is a great way to give back. We will pair you with a local commnu nity resident to volunteer your time to assist in whatever way possible. Needs range from transportation to doctors appointments, weekly outings, meal prep, to light housework. We want to make sure that each and every resident in our community is thriving, even in their lingering years. It’s more rewarding than you can imagine. Some of our residents just enjoy story telling with their volunteer. Others need help to remain sustainable in their later years. We want to connect those volunteers with the residents who so desperately need it.
#AdoptANeighbor is a community initiative to give back to our elders. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact us. We will link you with a neighbor in need. Our #AdoptANeighbor program searches for elders, widows, and disabled residents who live independently in our community with limited family or resources. If you know of a resident who you would nominate for #AdoptANeighbor, we want to hear from you.
We mostly depend on sponsors and volunteers to pull this initiative off. It takes much planning and keeping up with to be sure we don’t miss a resident or a need. If you have clerical, medical professional training, or you’re just a conversationalist and are interested in bonding with one of our elders, we encourage you to contact us for more information.

Our #GiveACup is a classic example of paying it forward. You can purchase a #GiveACup for $2.00. We will write your name on the #GiveACup Board. When someone comes in and can’t afford a cup of coffee, they will bring your name to the counter to buy their coffee. This provides an incentive for our neighbors to take part in the coffee shop, even if they can’t afford it. Many locals would not be able to join our atmosphere if we didn’t have this program. You can also purchase a #GiveACup on online in our Early Goat Shop.
#GiveACup tagets anyone who wants to come hang out with us, but can’t afford a cup of coffee. We want you to feel like the everyone else when at the Early Goat Cafe. No matter
By giving a cup for $2.00, you will provide an incentive for a local to enjoy the atmosphere and coffee at Early Goat Cafe without being able to afford it. We don’t want locals to not be able to join us based on limited finances. We want them to be here with us, taking part in every resource Early Goat has to offer.

#CanvasGala is part of our art initiative. We invite our customers to purchase a canvas for $5, $10, or $15 depending on the size. You and your friend can locate an easel somewhere throughout the cafe and paint your canvas together. Of course, you may take your canvas art with you, but you can also choose to donate it to the Early Goat Cafe. Donated pieces will be on display in the Early Goat Cafe until our semi-annual #CanvasGala where it will be sold for $50, $75, and $100.00. This is a semi-annual fundraiser event to offer support to Shriners Hospital of Greenville. This charity is close to our hearts and local.
#CanvasGala invites artists, friends, and families to take part in creating canvas art. We host events in conjunction with local artists in Greenville and the surrounding areas.
We welcome art instructors to teach classes, donated art supplies, artists, experimenters, friends, couples, families, and more. If you are looking to purchase art, stay tuned to our calendar for more info on the time and date of our next #CanvasGala.

#CuppingTheatre is Early Goat Coffee Co’s performance art initiative. We partner with local schools, performance theatre’s, and arts councils to bring special performances to our stage. Often times, performance artists spend months preparing for a performance they only showcase for an evening at their local schools or local theatres. We thought it would be a great way to give back by partnering with these groups to showcase their talent on our stage and provide an additional way to give back to the community. These performances range in age, cultural diversity, and cover topics and issues within our society that need to be addressed. We are proud to offer sponsorship for these events and platforms for our local artists by partnering with local businesses to bring awareness to these issues.
#CuppingTheatre targets artists of all ages, ranges, and backgrounds. We provide the stage, you provide the art. We also work with several businesses in our local community to bring these performances to light. If you are interested in performing, sponsoring, or volunteering in our #CuppingTheatre we would like to hear from you.
